ChatGPT Ads shows whether a campaign actually reached OpenAI and the rules before you top up, long GA4 and large Meta syncs finish, automations run again after the chat runtime move, and chat reconnects on its own
ChatGPT Ads
- A campaign or ad that has not reached OpenAI yet now reads "OpenAI review: Not submitted yet" (or "Not submitted (sync failed)") instead of "In review". Anything OpenAI has already reviewed keeps its review result while an edit is syncing.
- The top-up dialog now states the rules before you pay: OpenAI's $25 per day minimum for daily-budget campaigns, a minimum top-up of one day's budget, automatic pause when the balance falls to $5 with a manual resume, and that topping up does not launch a campaign on its own.
Data sync
- GA4 syncs that run longer than a few minutes refresh their access token instead of failing part way through, so first-time 90-day GA4 backfills that kept failing now complete.
- Very large GA4 properties whose weekly page report exceeds Google's row limit are re-fetched one day at a time instead of failing the whole sync.
- Large Meta accounts finish their first breakdown sync. Optional breakdowns no longer crowd out the five that coverage depends on.
- Repairing an account whose first sync has not finished no longer fails its later sync tiers straight away; they wait until the first sync lands.
Dashboards and automations
- After a pause in scheduling, an automation catches up with one run for the earliest missed slot instead of replaying every missed slot, so you no longer get a burst of daily reports or hourly tasks that each spend credits.
- A board card says when some days in its range, or in its comparison period, are not complete yet, instead of showing a partial total as if it were final.
- A scheduled board report that cannot finish is marked as failed and its creator is told, and a report is no longer described as sent when email delivery is not configured.
- Automations, including onboarding starter tasks, run to completion again. Shortly after chat moved to the new runtime on October 19, a model that filled every optional field with placeholders stopped those runs and some approval batches before anything was submitted.
Chat
- The "connection lost" banner clears on its own after a laptop wakes or a background tab comes back, because the chat renews its sign-in ticket as soon as the connection closes.
- When a model writes a tool call out as text instead of making it, Soku asks it once more so the account read or report actually happens, rather than ending the reply with the raw call on screen.
- Text written before a tool call is shown before the tool, instead of a sentence being split around it.
- A page link in a chat reply, such as the campaigns page, opens that page for the brand you are in instead of a 404.
- Final answers and client-ready drafts keep the date range, coverage and unknowns of the report they are based on, rather than reusing an older window or dropping a caveat the analysis had raised.
- Correction to the October 16 update: an unset Google Ads campaign device bid adjustment is now reported as Google's default of 1 (no adjustment), which is how Google applies it, rather than as unknown.
Privacy and reliability
- Answers from Meta lead forms (names, emails and phone numbers of people who filled in your form) are now redacted from Soku's request logs.
- A creative canvas left open in a signed-out tab stops retrying its connection on every reconnect.
Marketing site
- The Similarweb data page demo now shows what a customer actually pays for each call ($0.90 for a month of traffic and $0.23 for paid-search spend), and the page says reports are worldwide only.
- New guides: Databox alternatives and a Databox review with pricing, Google Ads campaign types, Google Display ads, agentic advertising, and the ChatGPT Ads multi-image format shown during image generation.
